Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has called for a vote to repeal Obamacare with a two-year delay after the plan to replace the law failed to win enough Republican support. Two more Republican senators announced their opposition to the Republican health care bill on Monday night, leaving the party leadership short of the required votes to move the legislation forward. "Regretfully, it is now apparent that the effort to repeal and immediately replace the failure of Obamacare will not be successful," McConnell said in a statement.

Dr. Theodore Woodward came up with the aphorism, “When you hear hoofbeats, think of horses, not zebras.” It was a warning to medical students who want to believe the common cold is an exotic disease. Law enforcement uses the phrase as well. The solution to a crime is usually the simplest explanation, not a twisted web of events. The meeting Donald Trump Jr.

The entire 2016 campaign was like a runaway train speeding down a hill, picking up steam, and barreling toward some disastrous finish. Now that we’re on this side of the election, things aren’t much better. We’ve had seemingly endless protests and marches, and some have turned into rioting and looting.

Posted at 7:00 pm on July 16, 2017 by Susan Wright So one of President Trump’s outside lawyers, Jay Sekulow, hit the Sunday morning shows to run defense against the heat generated this past week over news of Donald Trump Jr’s meeting with a Russian lawyer, presumably to receive dirt on Hillary Clinton, straight from the Russian government. Sekulow, in his defense, tried to lay the bulk of blame on the backs of the U.S.
