I’m sort of with Patterico on this. I’m not sure what difference this really makes even on the outside chance that it is true.

President Trump dropped into his golf club in Virginia on Saturday after commissioning the country's newest aircraft carrier in Norfolk, Va.  The president arrived at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va. a little after 1:30 p.m., according to a press pool report.  There, he joined Chief of Staff Steve Mnuchin and Mnuchin's wife Louise Linton.  Trump left the golf course at 5:46 p.m. and headed back to the White House, according to a pool report.  The president spoke at the commissioning of the USS Gerald R.
