President Trump defended the government’s response to Hurricane Maria on Puerto Rico, after the island’s governor said nearly 3,000 people died due to the storm.   Family, friends and constituents gathered Wednesday at Arizona’s Capitol to pay their respects to Senator John McCain.   Google Maps isn’t waiting for the Senate.  Interview topics included the “Access Hollywood” tape and Pizzagate.  The campaign for Congressman Ron DeSantis said his comments were directed at Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum’s policies, not the candidate himself — who is black.
