Earlier in the week, President Trump spoke on the subject of terrorism while sharing a stage with Palestinian “President” Mahmoud Abbas.
This was directed at Abbas and the Palestinian practice of paying stipends and pensions to the families of dead terrorists.
Now, via Israeli media, we’re hearing there is more of a backstory.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly was on Meet the Press today and talked about two items that have controlled the media this past week: the alleged backchannel to Russia proposed by Jared Kushner and the leak of classified information about the Manchester bombing.

I lived about 15 miles from Fort Bragg, North Carolina from 1994 to 2012, in a rural area where many Army officers and members of the various Special Forces groups based there made their home. After 9/11, our area was immediately impacted as Fort Bragg forces were some of the first deployed in the War on Terror.

A view from the outside in doesn’t look pretty. The anonymous sources for the New York Times and the Washington Post tell us that the Priebus’s are at war with the Bannon’s, and the Bannon’s are at war with the Kushner’s. Everyone is trying to amass their power.
Of course, you look at the sources for the New York Times, and they disagree with the sources for the Washington Post.
SACRAMENTO — The deluge of storms that soaked drought-parched California in the winter, filling reservoirs and packing snow on the Sierra Nevadas, also brought hope that the state would get some relief after years of devastating forest fires.
But now officials are worried about a new threat, one that could put thousands of homes in Western states at risk of a different kind of fire.
The winter storms have unleashed a bumper crop of highly flammable grasses in lowland foothills across the West.
President Trump tweeted several times Sunday evening, attacking the “Fake News Media” for criticizing his social media habits.
“The Fake News Media works hard at disparaging & demeaning my use of social media because they don’t want America to hear the real story!” he tweeted.
Earlier Sunday, Trump tweeted that many of the recent leaks coming out of his White House are made up by the "fake news" media.
