Senate President Stanley Rosenberg’s husband is accused of allegedly assaulting and harassing four men.
Senate President Stanley C. Rosenberg said he will cooperate fully with an investigation launched by his Senate colleagues while his husband, Bryon Hefner, 30, enters an in-patient treatment center for alcohol dependence.
Dianne Feinstein of California said potential evidence against the president is coming partly from ‘‘the continual tweets’’ from the White House.
The Senate majority leader previously said he was looking at drafting a write-in candidate for the election.
