The ban goes into effect next year.  Parents angry over earlier start times planned for dozens of Boston’s public schools gathered at a West Roxbury tree lighting Sunday to protest and demand that city officials postpone the changes.   The Alabama Democrat said “all the options on the table” when it comes to his votes on several issues.  Marty Walsh said he signed the bill despite concerns about the ban’s impact on the city’s low-income residents and seniors.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) vote this week to repeal net neutrality won’t end the fight over the regulation.
