Much of the conversation centered less around gun control, which has been hotly debated nationwide since the shooting, and more around ways to improve security at schools.  The notes included numbered questions and comments for those in attendance, including: “What would you most want me to know about your experience?” and “I hear you.”   A surge of high school and college students in New England are joining the Florida students’ cause, determined this time will be different.  The ascendance of the high school shooting activists has been heartening — but it has also been heartbreaking.
