The president has proposed allowing US manufacturers to sell large batches of firearms to other countries without consulting Congress.  A delegation of 25 members of Congress visited a US Customs and Border Protection center in McAllen, Texas.  Brownsville’s mayor and other leaders said the turmoil President Trump refers to is largely fiction.  The White House press secretary was booted from a restaurant about three hours from Washington because, she said, she works for President Trump.
