Sen. MORE (I-Vt.) will reportedly unveil a bill Monday calling on all $1.6 trillion worth of U.S. student debt to be eliminated. The Washington Post reports Sanders will propose the legislation Monday along with progressive Reps.

The Supreme Court is set to hand down its much-anticipated decision on whether the Trump administration can include a citizenship question on the 2020 census. The question has been the subject of multiple legal challenges since it was announced in early 2018.

The Texas Tribune published the latest Census Bureau data and projections which indicate that between 2010 and 2018 the Hispanic population in Texas has grown at nearly four times the rate of the white resident population and more than three times the rate of the black resident population. Today, the Texas Hispanic population stands at almost 11.4 million.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump says he hesitated to back a possible 2024 presidential run by Vice President Mike Pence because he was caught off-guard by the question. Given a chance at a do-over, however, Trump still did not endorse his loyal lieutenant. ‘‘You can’t put me in that position,’’ Trump said June 14 when a host of Fox News Channel’s ‘‘Fox and Friends’’ asked him about endorsing Pence should the vice president seek to succeed Trump in 2024.
