Distrust of the media is nothing new, and I happen to agree that much of the distrust stems from their sometimes sloppy and lazy work. Reporters and journalists can argue all they want that there isn’t a bias against Republicans and conservatives, but there is. I don’t use the term “liberal media” because that denotes coordination.

Leading Republican activists and donors in Ohio are privately encouraging "Hillbilly Elegy" author J.D. Vance to mount a bid for the Senate. BuzzFeed News reported Thursday that some Republicans in the state see Vance as someone who could run an energetic and positive campaign capable of unseating Sen. MORE (D-Ohio).  “He resonates with everyday mom-and-pop voters," a GOP activist told BuzzFeed.

President Obama's former White House photographer Pete Souza made another jab at President Trump through Instagram late Thursday, by sharing a photo of Obama meeting with NATO in 2012, "no jostling involved." Souza's post appeared to be in reference to a viral video from earlier in the day that shows Trump grabbing the arm of Montenegro Prime Minister Dusko Markovic as he moves toward the front of a group of leaders.   Laughter at th

VICTORIA, British Columbia — Two days before he was scheduled to die, John Shields roused in his hospice bed with an unusual idea. He wanted to organize an Irish wake for himself. It would be old-fashioned with music and booze, except for one notable detail — he would be present. The party should take up a big section of Swiss Chalet, a family-style chain restaurant on the road out of town. Mr.

Gas or charcoal? It is a question that has bedeviled American consumers and cooks for decades, since the first LazyMan propane grill went on sale in the 1950s and left the Smiths with their briquette-fueled brazier looking jealously over the fence at the Joneses and their new outdoor science stove. In the abstract, there is no one correct answer. You can have affirmative responses to the use of either fuel. You can stack them as high as summer corn. For instance: You get great smoky flavor and an unparalleled crust from cooking over or beside coals or wood.
