BREAKING...Another Car Attack In England

Police have arrested one person and are treating this as a ‘Major Incident” This will be updated as more news.   Also prayers up to our friends in England.

My Father's Daughter

There have been some challenges health-wise in the intervening years – a couple spills, a pacemaker, the early stages of Alzheimer’s – and he doesn’t go out for his “chogs” anymore, but Dad’s still shuffling along and I’m happy to get to celebrate Father’s Day with him today. There’s a song that always reminds me of him, even though the particulars of the story differ from ours:

The Navy identified Sunday the seven sailors killed when the USS Fitzgerald collided with a Philippines-flagged merchant ship on Saturday. The remains of seven sailors initally reported missing were located in flooded berthing compartments after divers gained access, a statement from the Navy said. A radio ad from a pro-President Trump group in Georgia is using former President Obama’s words out of context to argue that Democrats don’t care about black voters, CNN's K File reported Sunday. London police: Vehicle struck number of pedestrians outside mosque | TheHill

A number of people are injured and one person has been arrested after a van struck a number of pedestrians outside a mosque in London just after midnight, the BBC and other outlets reported Sunday.  The incident took place in the Finsbury Park neighborhood in the north of London on Seven Sisters Road.  The official Twitter account of the Muslim Council tweeted out a confirmation that the van struck worshippers as they left the mosque. “BREAKING: We have been informed that a van has run over worshippers as they left
