On the highest floor of the tallest building in Boston, Sen. Elizabeth Warren was busy collecting big checks from some of the city’s politically connected insiders. It was April 2018 and Warren, up for reelection, was at a breakfast fund-raiser hosted for her by John M. Connors Jr., one of the old-guard power brokers of Massachusetts. Soon after, Warren was in Manhattan doing the same. There would be trips to Hollywood and Silicon Valley, Martha’s Vineyard and Philadelphia — all with fund-raisers on the agenda.

Conservative media’s focus on MORE’s health this week underscores how attacks on the former vice president’s age are likely to be a big part of the race if he’s the Democratic nominee.  Biden will turn 77 this fall, and the issue of his age has repeatedly resurfaced since he entered the presidential race.  MORE, who is just four years younger than Biden, already has made a number of allusions to Biden’s age, accusing the former vice president just last month of “not playing with a full deck.” Democrats and Republicans alike say they expect Tr

Any of those candidates may decide to sue the South Carolina GOP, some Republican insiders said, because Saturday's vote ran contrary to the state party's rules. The

MORE announced Saturday he had canceled a planned secret meeting with leaders of the Taliban and Afghanistan's president at Camp David.  Trump also said he had called off negotiations with the insurgent group after Taliban leadership claimed credit for a deadly attack in Kabul. The announcement came days before the 18th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.  In a series of tweets, the president condemned Taliban commanders for an attack in the Afghan capital that killed 11 civilians and a U.S.

Bloomberg quoted Harris as saying, “I think it’s a good idea.” She admitted details are still outstanding regarding how the government would force gun owners to hand over their commonly owned semiautomatic rifles, but she made clear she supports implementing such a buyback plan. Robert France “Beto” O’Rourke also supports a government-mandated buyback of AR-15s and other commonly owned semiautomatic rifles. On August 24, 2019, Breitbart News
