Comey agreed on Friday to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee, though a date for the hearing has not yet been announced. It will mark the first time former top cop goes before a congressional panel since his ouster. The intelligence committee is conducting a separate investigation into Russian efforts to interfere in the election, as well as the Trump campaign's alleged ties to Moscow.
