A lot of people I once thought to be reliable have ridden the Trump Train straight to Crazy Town. Case in point: Sean Hannity got baited into a fight by septuagenarian songstress Bette Midler. Not only did he get baited, he challenged her to a one hour duel on the Fox News Channel. A charity matchup between Hannity and Midler. It’s not exactly Rocky Balboa vs. Thunderlips. Maybe it is. I don’t know. What I do know is that a debate between these two soaring intellects and legal scholars will settle the issue for once and for all. Won’t it? She forgot that the Democrats are historically pro-Communist, pro-Russia and yet they’re paranoid about Trump hypothetically doing the sort of things for which Ted Kennedy is celebrated. At one time I would have faulted Hannity for “punching down” but I think these two deserve each other. Maybe Trump’s number one lapdog is just emulating his favorite President who apparently has the time to tweet smack at his nemesis, professional lesbian Rosie O’Donnell.
