They’ve been shown in the background at various speeches, holding their signs and cheering. A Facebook photo of several of the men leading the movement has been circulating among Trump supporters for a few months now. Trump even acknowledged the group at a rally as they held signs and cheered behind him. One man in particular stands out. If you look at this Twitter photo from ABC news you will see the man standing just to the right of the middle-aged white woman holding her own ‘Blacks for Trump’ sign (which made me giggle). You can see on his shirt ‘Blacks for Trump’ and the partial name of his website. The man, who goes by Michael the Black Man (I do enjoy truth in advertising) has been advocating for Trump for months, appearing on various media outlets including Fox News. He’s also a former member of the cult Yaweh ben Yaweh. If you’ve never heard of this cult you can read about it at Wikipedia. I happen to have a minor obsession with cults and the Wikipedia page does a pretty good job of getting all the details about this correct. All you need to know is that it is the black, Christian version of Nation of Islam and their leader is responsible for the murders (some of them beheadings) of seven people, most from his own congregation.
