Article snippet: Filmmaker Michael Moore in a Monday appearance on “The Late Show” said he wished he had been wrong about his prediction that MORE would win the 2016 presidential election.  “No, I’ve never wanted to be more wrong in my life,” Moore told Stephen Colbert, who congratulated him on successfully calling the Election Day upset. “Well I live in Michigan and so, right, I was trying to warn the rest of the country, out here. People who voted for Obama were telling me they were going to vote for him.” Moore, who before the election detailed five reasons why Trump would win in a post on his website, said he contacted MORE’s campaign and urged them to spend more time in the four key swing states Trump ultimately won. “These are the Brexit states of America,” Moore explained, referring to Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Pennsylvania. “And there’s a lot of angry people, they don’t necessarily like Trump that much. But they see him as their human Molotov cocktail that they want to just throw into the system that has hurt them so badly.” Moore, who has a one-man Broadway show dedicated to mocking Trump, said he could not get Democrats at the time to listen to his concerns.
