Perino’s motivation seemed to be that this would make it easier to hire someone who would fire Robert Mueller and end the Russia probe. While there has been no specific call to make that happen, it has apparently been added to the rumor mill. From the Washington Examiner: That part about his being committed to the rule of law is what got him attacked this week by President Trump. Graham went on: Trump began rearranging the chairs on the deck last week. He brought in Anthony Scaramucci as communications director/house entertainment, which resulted in White House press secretary Sean Spicer running for the exit. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was then moved into his spot. After a week of Sessions-bashing and Scaramucci publicly targeting Reince Priebus as a “leaker,” Priebus was booted and John Kelly was moved from Homeland Security to the chief of staff position. This is what happens when you try to run government like a reality TV show. Trump was so busy playing his staff against each other that he forgot to lead and the repeal bill got away from him.
