On Tuesday, a Iranian “cancer researcher” (yes, I had to laugh at that, too, because everyone knows that if you want cancer research you have to go to Tehran) was detained at Boston’s Logan International Airport by US Customs and Border Protection. The detention lasted about 30 hours at the end of which time he was put on the next plane back to the Third World sh** hole he came from. Cute. Note how they link Trump’s travel executive order to the detention even though ICE says his detention had nothing to do with that order. What happened? Executive Order 13533 sanctions Iranian persons and organizations for terrorism and human right abuses. The list is here. One of those is the Basij militia, which is an auxiliary to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps. The guy in question in not only not a “cancer researcher” as a layman would understand the term, he’s a post-doctoral student working on someone else’s cancer research project, he is a leader of the Basij militia and has had a major role in supporting the mullahs and suppressing dissent. There is exactly one reason why a regime operative of Dehnavi’s rank would be sent to the United States: to run the IRGC operation to intimidate Iranian regime and nuclear deal opponents. ...
