After a gentleman heard MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow discuss a ProPublica piece on Trump’s Russia lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, he decided to send Kasowitz an email, with the subject heading, “Resign Now.” He probably thought that email would either be ignored, or he’d get some vague, automatic reply. Yeah. Not quite. Kasowitz responded. Like a nut. Let me stress – this is the man Trump chose to represent him before Mueller and his team of investigatory power houses. The dust up was over a ProPublica story that pointed out that Kasowitz was not seeking a security clearance to deal with all the classified material involved in the Russia probe. The man on the receiving end of Kasowitz’s unhinged rage didn’t want to be named, but he was so shaken by the exchange that he forwarded the emails to the FBI, just to have it on record. The email began with the gentleman’s very tame message, but Kasowitz pressed. Legal experts are split as to if what Kasowitz did could put him in hot water. Nobody is denying he sent the emails, however. A spokesperson for Kasowitz sent this statement to ProPublica: Well, apologize. That’s the right thing to do.
