During an interview that aired on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Trump cycled through one of his favorite talking points, namely, railing against the mainstream media, which he labeled as “fake.” During a back-and-forth between Trump and “Face the Nation” host John Dickerson, Trump said, “I think actually I’ve been very consistent. You know, it’s very funny when the fake media goes out, which we call the mainstream media, which sometimes, I must say is you . . .” Dickerson responded: “You mean me personally?” Then came the commander-in-chief’s attempt at a zinger. “Your show. I love your show, I call it ‘Deface the Nation,’” Trump said. “But your show is sometimes not exactly correct.” During that same interview, Trump also talked about health care reform.
