That’s the attempts by Russia to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. What bothers me is that after all this time and all of the sniping going back and forth, people are losing sight of the bigger picture. Former FBI Director James Comey testified on March 20th of this year: It is a serious issue and some people reacting in ways that run counter to the very real concerns some people have with Donald Trump and his administration. Yesterday, The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway tweeted the following: I have a tremendous amount of respect for Mollie and her husband, Mark. When I appeared on ‘Reliable Sources,’ she was encouraging to me. That said, I take issue with what she says here because she’s casting a wide net with her statements. People have legitimate concerns about Trump and not just his glaring weaknesses. Take a step back to 2016 when Donald Trump, despite being presented with evidence that Russia was meddling in our election, denied it happened. Even after Trump was elected, he continued to deny it. A story broke in the December 9 Washington Post revealing the CIA concluded Russia intervened in the election and wanted Trump to win.
