But that won’t stop lawmakers from hitting him with a barrage of questions. Democrats are intent on illuminating key aspects of his 448-page report, which contains unsavory details concerning contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia and MORE’s efforts to gain control of the investigation. Republicans, meanwhile, will use their time to defend the president by highlighting what the 22-month probe did not find — specifically, a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Moscow to interfere in the election.
