The example cited by the activist, Josh Nelson, dealt with the issue of “carbon capture,” a process by which carbon emissions are stopped from entering the atmosphere and contributing to climate change. Biden has dealt with accusations of plagiarism before. His 1988 presidential run was marred by accusations that he lifted campaign speech passages from a British politician and that he had plagiarized five pages of a 1965 Fordham Law Review article as a student in law school.
